10 years ago, I was working as a doula and prenatal yoga teacher… I ran my first birth education course over a cup of tea in my Bondi living room… My son Leroy was 6 years old and I was a solo mum.

I had no idea what I had got myself into and I had no idea where this was going or what life was going to look like next week, let alone in 10 years’ time. How things have grown!!!

This week we celebrated the birthday of our very first She Births® baby, beautiful 9-year-old Leela (who is also my god daughter). I was so honoured to teach my first couple, her parents and be at little Leela’s birth – it was a purely magical and extraordinary unfolding of Nature; mixed with the fullness of life… pain, joy, connection, release, surrender, support and of course celebration.

She Births® has come a long way over the last 10 years, and we have now brought She Births® to over 8,000 expectant parents! Thank you all so much for making She Births® the movement of love, positivity and change we long to see in the world. Together when we heal birth, we heal the earth.
