Before She Births® I feared labour. Hollywood would have me believe I’d be rushed screaming in my car to the hospital, screaming at my husband for putting this ‘thing’ inside me, feet strapped into stirrups by a doctor, a lot of screaming and three pushes later VOILA, a screaming baby!
But, labour was not something I was particularly looking forward to. She Births®. It transformed my whole perspective.
My husband and I watched short videos and grew more confident together. Nadine’s soothing voice combined with the education and
understanding of what would happen to my body, and how to cope was amazing. Understanding our body’s powerful role in labour, and how to actively birth, the breathing techniques and, also, visualisations, truly helped.
I have been telling anyone who will listen that She Births® is a brilliant birthing resource for a positive birth: single friends, married friends, potential grandparents! I feel so privileged to have been so prepared for my first.
Thank you again, Nadine, and your team, for providing me with the tools I needed to have a successful birth. I think back fondly to my daughter’s birth. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved. I am also in awe of my husband for labouring with me and am so grateful for this bonding experience.
